The Queens Guard Alumni Association was established in May 2005 as a special interest group of the Rutgers Alumni Association, the 9th oldest alumni association in the United States, and a tax-exempt, non-profit entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; and subsequently recognized in January 2009 as a chartered organization of the Rutgers University Alumni Association.
